Conditions on Guarantee of Labrador Puppy
Breeder guarantees the dog for any hereditary conditions which may arise as outlined
below. All veterinary and X-ray costs are at the owner's expense.
The dog must be registered in the original
owner's name, and cannot have been sold.
Buyer also agrees, that if for any reason in the lifetime of the
said puppy/dog, if they can no longer keep in their possession the said puppy/dog, that they will relinquish ownership back
to Seller, Highland Kennels (Kim Meyer or John Fahey). Under no Circumstances is Buyer to release puppy/dog to any Rescue
Group, Shelter, or ant other type of facility for re-homing. Buyer is to Contact Highland Kennels immediately
and arrange for puppy/dog to be released back to seller, where it will always have a home,where puppy/dog came from.
if the dog is diagnosed by OFA as being mildly, moderately or severely dysplastic on or before 25 months of age, you must
submit a copy of the X-ray and OFA report to the breeder within 5 days of being diagnosed.
Animals used for breeding
prior to X-ray and exam are not guaranteed.
Animals that have been abused are not guaranteed.
Animals
that have been injured are not guaranteed.
All dogs are sold in good faith and no dog is sold for any specific
use or guaranree of performance such as brood bitch, stud dog, show dog, field trial, or hunt test competitor.
If
the dog is found to be defective or dysplastic as described above, then to Qualify for a replacement puppy when available:
a) The defective dog must be, upon agreement of BOTH parties, returned to Highland Kennels. All rights to said dog must
then be signed over to Highland Kennels (Kim Meyer/John Fahey).
OR
b) If buyer wants to keep said puppy,The dog must be sterilized in a manner preferred by your Veterinarian and
a letter stating he/she has done so must be sent to the breeder.
Buyer will have puppy examined by a veterinarian
of their choice within 72 hours (owners expence) during which time the puppy can be returned for full purchase price
if a medical problem is found and the puppy has not been abused or injured. We are not responsibly for parasites such as Coccidiosis,Giardia,
or other parasites puppies commonly carry.
The breeder has the option of refunding the Buyer's money of the
original cost,or providing a replacement puppy of comparable breeding when one is available. The breeder reserves the right
to have the dog examined by a veterinarian(s) of their choice before a refund is made.
Hips are guaranteed to be
OFA certifiable at two years of age (24 months). The above requirements are necessary to enforce this guarantee and they are
YOUR RESPONSIBLITY to see that they are met. This guarantee only covers hereditary defects on hips and eyes. it does not cover
any physical injuries. If a physical injury or injuries have accured, this guarantee is void. Replacement pups may be chosen
from any breeding of comparable pedigree. Highland Kennels (Kim meyer/John Fahey) shall be the sole judge of the comparable
pedigree. If you choose a breeding(puppy) of higher value, the purchasing party will be required to pay the difference.
